LADIES…what shoes to wear with light denim cropped jeans?

Im in a dilema with what shoes to wear with some light,ripped effect cropped jeans…. wedges? im quite tall 5′6 and have biggish feet(6) so want to slim my ankles,feet down! any ideas?
